There is something I’ve been wondering for a while. What’s with all the wealthy democrats? I’ve encountered them and heard stories of them for quite some time- from wealthy democrats of Newport to petite blonde mothers driving big SUVs with Obama stickers on the back. Why are they democrats? why do they support Obama-care? Don’t they have money to lose in all of this…
Well one obvious answer is that these democrats simply use the poor minorities as numbers and pawns to win their game. Isn’t that reminiscent of their sudden …

So it passed 219-212….
As a Catholic, I’m disgusted that anyone who calls themselves either pro-life or Catholic voted for or supports this bill. As of today there will be no taxpayer money going to fund abortions, but this was simply an executive order, not actual legislation, therefore it can be repealed today, tomorrow or any time down the road. But even if this executive order stays, the government can still give money to private organizations that fund abortions, therefore; this bill will fund abortions.
As a woman….I just hope I never …

As a former girl scout, I earned my cooking badge by mixing sprinkles with yogurt, going camping in cottages with heat and running water, selling cookies, and learning that there are many ways to have sex, not just vaginally and anally.
Wait…what?
While I really did participate in those first three things, which helped me to make friends and memories, that last thing I never learned about, especially as an eight year-old. But now girl scouts may be adding that third activity to their girl scout curriculum.

I was recently assigned to read an article in the Washington Post for a news writing class about an openly gay teenager–OWNING HIS GAY IDENTITY – AT 15 YEARS “OLD– The article made me feel sad as it recounted the murder of a gay teenager; while one aspect of that teen’s life may not have been acceptable to some, his life was equally as precious and important as yours and mine. But, I was troubled by the attempts in the article and often am troubled by our general culture to …

Pictures of the remains of aborted babies are very controversial often because of their graphic nature. But, shouldn’t we ask ourselves “why are these pictures so controversial and painful to look at?”.
They are simply the painful truth. No matter what your argument is as at why abortion should be legal, or what constraints you believe abortion is ok under, lets remember what exactly you are arguing for. It may be easy to say the word abortion, and conceptualize abortion as simply terminating a pregnancy.
But I’ll guess its not so easy …

Today I was reading my US Government book, and I’m only on the 6th chapter, but I keep coming across reference after reference of Ronald Reagan! Great, right? Nope! The book is basically a “burn book” attempting to hold Reagan as one of its victims.
I was actually embarrassed for the authors that they felt the need to attempt to strike Reagan again, and again, and again. In comparison they sung the praises of progressive president FDR.
I recently stumbled upon a place to review and read reviews of textbooks …

In my recent experiences in my college classes, I have been hit hard with liberal professors disguising themselves as “fair” and “bi-partisan”.
In one recent political science class at a student’s mention of death panels and Obama-care, my teacher screamed, “let me make one thing perfectly clear, there are NO F***ING DEATH PANELS.” He went on to explain that he was sick of all the lies being told about the wonder-that-is Obama-care
In another class, I brought up the very interesting response of Massachusetts to the recent doings of the government …
