Today I received a forward in my email describing the benefits immigrants receive in America. Did you know that if an immigrant is over 65, he can receive a social security monthly payment of $2,470 from the government, but a woman who has paid taxes in America for fifty years can only receive $1,012 maximum? This got me thinking about how accepting the American public is about redistribution of wealth in general.

The American Catholic Bishops have been under fire for their active role in fighting against the Obama “Health Scare” plan. In particular they have fought against any funding for abortion and euthanasia. They stand united in desiring a health care plan that upholds the dignity of every human life. In essence they are practicing what they preach and it is working.

HARRISONBURG, VA–Governer-elect, Bob McDonnell, then only the republican candidate for governor in Virginia, rallied support from students when he visited James Madison University’s “D-Hall” on August 25.
